Welcome to the home of E-Minima - bring the Internet to the grassroots for better learning and governance.

Caution: This is a lite section - serious thoughts are not allowed :-)

Question1: Why did you assemble a mini-CD for elearning?

Answer1: Because I can't imagine you, the change agent, going around 40,000+ public schools carrying a computer.

Question2: Why did you devise an E-Minima scheme for elearning?

Answer2:
So teachers can not tell you, the change agent, "We don't have this so we can't do that."

Question3: What if we don't have electricity?

Answer3: Ask the fisherman - he will lend you his battery for catching fish - that can power a P10,000-worth laptop for the whole day. Well, make it AM only so he can recharge it PM for his evening voyage.

Question4: And where do we get a laptop like that?

Answer4: To answer that, get from the palengke pages of Buy and Sell, or write your overseas Tita to send you one.

Question5: Why try using computers at all - do we really need that?

Answer5: Try asking yourself if you can live without TV. A generation ago, the same question was asked about TV.

Question6: Haven't heard any of the software you've described here - why insist on them?

Answer6: We haven't heard you, too, talking seriously about paying the software that you're currently using.

Question7: Am drowning in white in these pages! Got some colors there?

Answer7: It can help relieve your monitor of stress - that's additional savings for you!

Question8: And where are the search tools?

Answer8: In your head and fingers: use your eyes and click the mouse =)

Question9: Why are the pages and the discussion located in the same screen?

Answer9: Why do you text while attending a class lecture? Or (if you have no celphone) why do you talk to your seatmate while listening to your teacher?

Question10: How do we draw our charts or illustrations?

Answer10: Ask the toddler from your neighbor to teach you how to use Paint.
